if im just gettin 1 sub i could get the 160 and not the 200 right.or if im only gettin 1 sub would my stock alt be fine

It depends, check the battery with a meter after it's installed, and see what you get. It would also depend on how much that amp will draw, and what you feed that sub!

Then I think your going to have to upgrade. You know if you buy a 160, and it's to small, your gonna kick yourself, you'd be better off going for at least the 200 amp, but I think on this one I'd ask Glass!

how much *can* it cost? I've seen alternator setups cost over two grand..
average cost just for a larger one in most cars? about $150-300 for the alternator, and labor at about $60/hour to install it if a shop oes it.

ive seen them online for like $120_ $150 for the 160's
