New member Username: Kevinlee33Sheffield Post Number: 1 Registered: Jul-05 | I have just installed a sub and amp - No problems. But to wire the amp up to the battery i disconnected the terminals on the car battery and when i reconnected them, the alarm started going off. i tried starting the car as i normally do - place the imob fob on the reciever on the dash then turn the ignition. But this didnt work - the alarm still went off. i have just recently bought the car and in the boot was a box for a maystar cat 2 imob, so i am guessing that is what imob is installed. Anyway - does anyone have any ideas on how to get the alarm working properly again?? my car battery is disconnected at the mo - its the only way i know to stop it from goin off. as many answers as poss PLEASE, would be very much appreaciated. Thanx, Kev. |

I disconnected the 12 pin harness to stop the alarm and starter kill, but now I'm trying to get it working again. I found installation guides at http://www.evosoft.dk/index.html but can figure out how to get the alarm reset to work properly again. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks. |
