Today I went to look at a system my friend was selling for 900 dollars. there was 2 12" W6v2's powered by a JL 1000/1 amp. The sh@t was so loud in his integra I could breathe, and it sounds alot better than my L7(was about to get another one). Question: -I know that the 500/1 was meant for those subs, will I blow the subs if I keep it on the 1000/1? |

Silver Member Username: Riebread77Post Number: 353 Registered: Jun-05 | 500/1 was meant for 1 of the subs...because each one is 400 rms...that would make a total of 800 watts rms...if you go with the 500/1...your underpowering them...if you go with 1000/1...your perfect because you will avoid clipping... PS...i wouldn't buy it for $900 used... |

Everything looks likes its in perfect condition though. I was going to get a W7, as far as loudness and low bass what are 2 12"w6v2 in a ported box equeal to a 12w7 or 13w7? |
