One of my friends, wanted more bass but didnt want to pay for a sub, enclosure, amp...so he bought a cheap-o pioneer 6x9 coaxial, and cut the wires connecting to the tweeter. He cut a whole in his rear deck, and used duct tape cuz he said he didnt have anything else. Finished it off with a 35 watt boss-or somn amp...definately a little embarassing |

I can't stand it when he does that... and then the moron gets in my truck trying to show off my system, and guess what! Yup... he doesn't just turn it up to where it sounds good... no, he's got to try to see how loud it will possabily get! I can't stand the sound of destorted components/subs:-) so I usually turn it down befor he can crank it that high. Thats not all! I ask him why he does that, and he says "because it sounds good!" hahah thats about all I say to him every time he says that... Sorry about the long rant, had to get that off my chest.:-) |

A) the word ghetto originated when w.a.s.p.s. and jews lived in clusters. Blacks live in similar conditions and the term ghetto automatically refers to Blacks. also, anything related to the ghetto inappropriately takes on a negative connotation. I have around 150ish to work with since I quit my job and plan on buying the subs. The amp can beu underpowering them and an offbrand if need be. Yeah they are 175 rms and they come in DVC 4 omh so if you were to get 4 you can wire 2 subs in parallel/parallel to get a 1 ohm load and then wire the other to the same way then wire the whole thing in series to get a 2 ohm load. As for 6 subs im not sure. Thats why 4 would be easier to go with. |
