Unregistered guest | I have 1 12" Type R Alpine, and two alpine mrp-m350 amps. They run 350x1 RMS at 2 ohms, but 200x1 RMS at 4 ohms... Since my Sub has 4+4, i haveto run 2 amps at 4 ohms a piece? ... just looking for information, wheather i should bring back my amps i have now, and get a bigger one or how i could wire them... this is my first system, my brother suggested getting these two amps to push it... anyone have ne help for me? thanks you can email me at lilmidg12@yahoo.com , or IM me at lilmidg12 on AIM |

Silver Member Username: Alias747MN Post Number: 431 Registered: Apr-05 | Is that the old type r? The older ones were 300 wrms, the new 05 models are 500 wrms. You can wire each voice coil to its own amp. But IMO, I would just get one amp. 2 amps does look kind of cool though..... |

xdrummer03 Unregistered guest | The MRP-M350 is too small for the new Type R's but fine for the old ones. If its a new Type R then the only amp to go with is the MRD-m605 |
