Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2395 Registered: Jan-05 | If you're going to go with good subs like the alumn's, why go cheap on the amp? BTW, I'd go with the Eclipse TI's. |
Silver Member Username: 54danny54Post Number: 599 Registered: Nov-04 | im going hifonics because the blue lights on there amp will match my project. My project is 3 chamber dual port per chamber plexi box as a back seat and downfire the subs...with L.E.D(there legal in my state) blue accents and the Tis are more spl oriented so i thought 3 10 inch aluminums would be just as loud and sound a tad clearere...its more of a sql project. to round out the sq where can i get componet sets that can keep up with 3 10 inch aluminums for 180 or less, also where can i get a 32 band EQ for 120 or less |
Silver Member Username: 54danny54Post Number: 600 Registered: Nov-04 | 600 baby yea....party |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2399 Registered: Jan-05 | Lol, that should look cool, and yeah the Alum's are more sq bassed. I'm guessing you've already heard that Hifonics is over rated, so I won't say anything to try to change you're mind. As far as components, most people like Infinity, and MB Quart. I'm using the Infinity Kappa's, and there ok. www.sonicelectronix.com has the best prices on almost everything I've found so far, and thats where I've baught all my stuff, so there reliable. |
Silver Member Username: 54danny54Post Number: 602 Registered: Nov-04 | thanx taylor...so by over rated do u mean i should get maybe a 1500D and it will put out enough or what lol |
Silver Member Username: AlpineuserWinchester, TN Post Number: 672 Registered: Mar-05 | why worry about a system now. In 2 years there will be new and better stuff out. |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2409 Registered: Jan-05 | Lol, yeah... good point. In 2 years... JL maybe crap, and something new could be out... By over rated, I mean, the BX1500D doesn't put out a true 1500 watts, I think someone on heer tested it, and it only put out 900 watts. Still not bad for $200 though. |
Silver Member Username: 54danny54Post Number: 605 Registered: Nov-04 | ahh i dunno why im worrying really but ya know....u can never be 2 careful |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2446 Registered: Jan-05 | Lol yup, I remember when I first got on this forum, I started like 10 different threads asking about which subs were the best in my price range, and how to make them fit under the backseat of the truck. Lol That was be for there was a lot of people on... james/Sean... just Jonathan, and Glass. Luckilly I lucked out and didn't buy complete crap! Thank god.:-) Oh, and then when I had too figure out how to match ohms? I thought I was going to go crazy! haha |
