Bronze Member Username: Rsoares28Scarborough, Ontario Canada Post Number: 27 Registered: Sep-04 | i have an alpine m350 class d monoblock amp, 350watts@2ohms, 200watts at 4 ohms, i have SVC alpine type r 10, so i'm underpowering this sub, i want to replace my sub with a dvc 4ohm type r so i can wire it in 2 ohms and give it what it asks for 300-350 watts rms from my amp, now if i do that, what about volts, i'm shady when it comes to volts? i have the pioneer mp7600 HU, any advice, will i get what i desire? |

Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 3492 Registered: Nov-04 | You need to get 4ohms DVC to get 2ohms from a single sub. As for the volts, your amp should be able to match the HU. Set the gain/level according to it and you'll be fine. |
