Wednesday, July 06, 2005 - 16:37 GMT Fiberlass has low density, and therefore it will sound boomy. It will actually be annoying if you plan on using it for SQ.

Wednesday, July 06, 2005 - 17:30 GMT Stay away from anything that is low density, and resources that resonate high. Try to use resources that are low resonance, because that way you get sound out of just the speaker, not the box. If you get box resonance it sounds boomy, and mechanical. In other words it doesnt sound like the real thing. Plexiglass is junk for building speaker boxes.
