1000W amp - OK with factory alternator?

I'm putting in a 1000W alpine mono amp for 2 type-r subs. my jeep's alternator is rated at 136A. its possible to get a HO alternator, but id like the $$ instead. Will i need a new alternator with this setup?

probably.. my amp in my truck is only 340 watts and if i have my amp loud my batter guage goes crazy.

if the amp is class D then it will prolly draw about 90A~105A....you prolly need a new alt....
bout 160A should do you...
