No sound from speakers

bill Unregistered guest	Posted on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 - 15:33 GMT i just hooked my pioneer deck up to my 1990 ford tempo and i am not getting any sound from my speakers i tried a small house speaker to the deck and still nothing.. i am thinking ground but i'm not sure.. my deck runs and is reading my cd???? can anyone help
