1 ohm

Shea Bronze Member Username: Shea88 Cartwright, Manitoba Canada Post Number: 48 Registered: Mar-05	Posted on Monday, July 04, 2005 - 00:14 GMT I have my 2 10" alpine swr-1042d's wired to 1 ohm into my kenwood kac-x811d amp. This pumps freaking hard but once I turn my sub control past 5 or my volume past 20 my amp blinks E-1 which according to the manual means that the inside of the amp is heating up and then my amp shuts off. Why is it doing this? Is it not truely 1 ohm stable, is there anyways I can wire these subs to 2 ohm's?
