Monday, June 27, 2005 - 22:25 GMT that is a very subjective question... how much power will you be giving the speakers? Either way, high sensitivity is what you are looking for. Look for speakers with sensitivity >95dB. For the second question: nothing.

Tuesday, June 28, 2005 - 17:02 GMT Better reliability in round speakers, heard of some issues with oval due to stress points etc. "loudest"- just loud or loud with clairty loud with clarity cost a lot more $$ deck power or are you planning on running an amp?

Wednesday, June 29, 2005 - 03:32 GMT 6x9's can hold their own though...because they can go low with less distortion than 6.5's...it's the 4x6's and 5x7's you have to be worried about

Thursday, June 30, 2005 - 16:35 GMT Hmm, ok, what about some door speakers under $200 that will be worth the money? Talkin clarity and loudness on this one. I't depends on what kind of door speakers I get, but I will probaly power them with a good quality low watt amp.

Friday, July 01, 2005 - 02:35 GMT I think the XXX 6.5 will get lower than most 6x9's if not all of them....But it is very subjective. For clarity you want component 6.5's

Friday, July 01, 2005 - 03:01 GMT 6x9s have considerably high distortion at any frequency compared to a 6.5" driver. Only benefit is the surface area, which gives a little advantage in efficiency, but give them some excursion and 6x9s are the floppy c*ck of car audio.

Friday, July 01, 2005 - 15:07 GMT I'd take my Kappa 692i's over my Kappa 60.5's any day. (given adequate power)

Friday, July 01, 2005 - 17:35 GMT So basically, 6.5's would be better than 6.9?
