2 12" type R vs 1 12" type X ???

heeeelppp meeee Unregistered guest	Posted on Sunday, June 19, 2005 - 03:03 GMT here it is, i have the alpine mrd-m1005 amp, 1000W rms and i want to get either one 12" type X sub 1000w with custom ported box or two 12" type R's 500w rms with ported box. what is better two type R's or one type X?? 2 R's vs one X.. what is gonna be the LOUDER!! system?? low bass and quality all that is fine.. but what is LOUDER?? pleaaase help. thanks.

Also, they made a bad batch of type-x's so you might not even get ones that work. I'd go with the 2 type-r's. Also, dont go prefab ported. I made that mistake. Trust me, dont. If you get the r's, get a sealed box, or good custom ported.
