Silver Member Username: Dpaw20FL USA Post Number: 232 Registered: Mar-05 | I've had my bass boost all the way up thats on my amp, but now i see that it makes it louder, but a lot less clear (sloppy bass). Am i right? But, the question is, I have a Panasonic HU with no sub output, so when i put the bass DB boost up for my other speakers to play mid bass, it boosts the subs too. (2 Alpine 12" type r's) Would you recomened i still turn that bass boost down? Im planning on getting a better HU, but for now... Also, i hav a ported box tuned to 39hz (prefab) for my subs. I really want to get a smaller sealed box so it will sound better. My cuzin had 1 12" MTX 6000 in a small sealed box and it was really loud, and sounded better than my subs. Would going sealed fix my problem? Cuz i dont hav the money for a custom ported box or nothin. my amp is a audiobahn A8000T plz help, thx |
