Hi, I have two 10inch subs that handle 150w rms @ 4ohms. They are currently in a dual Qlogic box each with their own chamber and binding posts. Can anyone direct me to a buying guide that explains car amplifiers or suggest a good amp I should buy and how the wiring should be setup? Thanks
If those are single 4 ohm voice coil subs, then i would suggest an alpine mrd-m300, you can pick one up for under 100 bucks off ebay, they output 300rms at 2 ohms and are really clean amps. (I really like alpine) pretty much any amp that will output 300rms at 2 ohms would be fine. As for how to wire them you would wire them in what is called parrallel, hook both positive terminals to the positive terminal of the amp, and both negative terminals to the negative output of the amp.
