New member Username: FastpaceracePost Number: 6 Registered: Jun-05 | oh really you think so. ok, well is there any other amp u can think of maybe like a 1200W amp that is still good too? |

I don't know you're price range, but look at MTX/JBL as well. I believe JBL makes a 1000.1 and I know MTX makes a 1501D. |

Bronze Member Username: Audio_kingDenton, TX USA Post Number: 40 Registered: Jun-05 | sorry never looked at hifonics or phoenix gold...and i agree with u that alpine is overrated and there expensive too but its still not a bad amp if u dont look at prices. |

I had four of those amps in my Cherokee powering four Type-X's and I could have them full power all day long and they barely got warm. They're an awesome amp, and you can hook them up to the Alpine HU and control it from there. I doubt very many people here have owned one of those amps, but I'd recommend them any day. |

Silver Member Username: AlpineuserWinchester, TN Post Number: 478 Registered: Mar-05 | alpine amps are to expensive for what you get. Hifonics isnt bad, a tad overrated and its a crapshoot on if u get a lemon or a gem. Pheonix Gold is good if u stick with the xenons, the octanes arent bad for the money but i never really like an amp that advertises its peak power in the model number. |
Gold Member Username: Taylor17Kopperl, Texas Post Number: 2076 Registered: Jan-05 | Exactly... but for $200 for a Hifonics 1500D... even if it only puts out 1100 watts... thats still not a bad price. |
