Hey i just bought two 12 inch kicker subs, and i bought an amp today a 300 watt pioneer GM-3100T. has anyone ever used this amp before and do you think it will do the job? Thanks
The pioneer GM-3100T, they say will it will push 150 watts RMS at 4ohms bridged. Without knowing the model of the sub or the RMS watts it will be hard to say. You can run one sub at 4ohms bridged and it should sound ok. You can run both subs but you will have to run one sub on each channel. This will give less watts than when bridged. Each sub will get Continuous Power: (4 ohm)60W x 2 and Continuous Power (2 ohm): 75W x 2. For most subs to sound good and hit hard you need to get in the upper ¾ of the RMS watts.
