has anyone tryed this out i am wondering if the antenna is built in or not and how good the reception is

Yes Zach the antenna is built in. The reception is awomse on the MyFi. If its lacks there is a antenna you can wear on your shirt collar whioch it like a 4 inch long straw. I have had one since it came out. They are really nice.
