Wiring diagram for JBL1200.1

I ran a 4 ohm DVC AW1000Q's to a JBL1200.1 and im getting a Green light. I ran 12g speaker wire and ran a wire from the + on one side to the + of the other and the - from one side to the - of the other side. I then ran wires from the remaining + and - on the sub to the first set of the jbl amp. Is this correct to get 600W RMS at the sub?

Jbl 1200.1 is 600x1@4 ohms and 1200x1@2 ohms the way you have it wired is 2 ohms and it will be putting 1200 watts into the sub meaning that sub probably wont last very long.

I think you mis-wired the coils

its like this:

GlassWolf, that is how I have it hooked up. But I have two subs on the the 1 amp. Sorry I should have mentioned that. Is that correct then?

If you then wire your two subs together in the same manner, you are sending a one ohm load to the amp, that is why it is going into protection mode.

two 2 Ohm subs on a mono amp is a 1 Ohm load in parallel
too low of a load.

The bp1200.1 is supposed to be stable at 1 ohm.

oh yeah. you have the JBL.
I was doing three things at once when I answered that and didn't scan through the thread.
check ground and power.. check wiring again.
most likely if its not working, it's just a wiring problem.
