Silver Member Username: Monkey_manPost Number: 129 Registered: May-05 | I understand that MB Quart, jl,alpine, focal,Boston and CDT are great speakers, but i want to know what are their best models are. I want to know because i don't want to end up with a pair of their "just ok" models. Any input is greatly apreciated. |

Dynaudio doesn't have a low end, all are top notch drivers, Rainbow has the References (WAY too expensive for most people, 2 ways are around $7,000), the Platinums are somewhat obtainable at 2 grand for a set, but still more expensive than all above. Even the Profis and Profi Vanadiums are on par with pretty much anything out there. |

Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 4044 Registered: May-04 | "OKay thanks, is dynaudio on ebay?" New, likely not. Used, I'm sure they'll pop up from time to time. Manufacturer links for Rainbow and Dynaudio are here: http://www.dynaudiousa.com/products/car/car1.htm http://car.rainbow-audio.de/products/introduction.php?lan=2&pro=1 Another company to look at it DLS, great speakers from them as well, especially the Iridiums. |

As far as speaker choice, it depends on the sound you're after. Do you want something warm, natural, or something a little more crisp and aggressive? Also, do you want them to get really loud, or is that not a concern? |
Silver Member Username: Monkey_manPost Number: 135 Registered: May-05 | I want to hear them over the loud bass. My syck speakers are barely loud enough. So, since i listen to mostly rap, i will want the crisp sound. |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 4049 Registered: May-04 | MB Quart Q series or JL ZR then. |
Silver Member Username: Monkey_manPost Number: 139 Registered: May-05 | Ok thanks. But what about infinity kappa perfects? |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 4050 Registered: May-04 | They're good for that as well, IMO the Quarts and JLs edge them out just a bit, especially in midbass performance. |
Bronze Member Username: HellbenderLos Angeles, California USA Post Number: 99 Registered: Apr-05 | Hey Jonathan, dont forget the A/D/S speaker lines. I love my 236 IS's! |
Silver Member Username: Monkey_manPost Number: 140 Registered: May-05 | How do they compare with infinity and mb quart? |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 4052 Registered: May-04 | Not the same type of components, they're softer, warmer, more natural. Not quite what you're looking for in this case. |
