It runs great for the last 6 months, but at high volumes i felt that the bass wasnt hitting hard as it should be, kind of sluggish so i just added a 1.2 Farad Cap to the system. Installation went fine, followed the directions of charging and doing installation. When the engine is idle, the sound is like normal, but when i start driving, the sound goes way up, not just through to my sub, but to my speakers in my car. When i begin to slow down, the sound softens slowly and then comes down to the origianl value. I am thinking its the alternator, but there was no problem with running the audio before, would a cap put that much more strain on the alternator? |
