Posted on ok i've been looking at a new car and was thinkning about the subaru wrx sti. i think itll be a good car to put a system in but anyway, i was wondering are there any cars out there that have an alternator that puts out more amps than it really needs? like, you know, the car manufacturers knew that someone was gonna add more stuff so they made an alternator that can handle the extra load? also, does anyone know how many amps the wrx puts out stock? |

Posted on cars today generally have a small amount of excess amps enough to power small addons, though nothing to accomodate for enormous drawing systems |
