DonnyAladam Unregistered guest | mtx has too much power.. those atlas's are 300wrms each so the mtx would be putting out 800w.. too much go with the kicker- but theres more amps out there that are chaper but not as good quality |
Silver Member Username: ByrumjrPost Number: 253 Registered: Jan-05 | If the subs are 300 watts rms and good subs they will take the 400 watts the mtx will put to it. You will be getting close to 460 watts to each sub. For the money I would take the mtx. |

Silver Member Username: Skyliner17Saint Paul, MN United States Post Number: 176 Registered: Apr-05 | yeah i would take mtx too because its 800 watts at 14.4v and cars are usually at 13.5v so you'll only get around 700 watts which will be perfect for those subs. but one thing is that the subs should be in a sealed box and not ported because if ported u need amp with subsonic filter and the mtx 801d doesn't have subsonic filter. |
