brassic Unregistered guest	Posted on Saturday, May 28, 2005 - 22:50 GMT ok so i listen to alot of rock punk and metal so im after a setep which will bring the best out of the music, etc guitars, bass, drums, should i go for 2, 8 inch subs? or whould two way speakers handle the hard hitting fast drum sounds? would a amp sound better then a head unit? also im on a tight budget! cheers

Yes an amp that will adequately power speakers will be better than the head unit. On a tight budget I would look into coaxials like the Kappa 6.5's and a 10" sub with a small mono amp from MTX, JBL or Kicker.
