I have the Pioneer Premeer 660 and only on a few certain radio stations, it gets all statiky when the bass hits. Why, and is there an easy way to fix it?

Maybe there's a bad solder connection or the tuner is going out...

If the tuner was going out... I'd think it would do it on every station... this is just on a few... it even seems like it's worse on some days, and not that bad on others... but only when the bass hits, thats what's weerd.
Maybe that's what's rong with it... the signal just isn't that good, and when the bass hits, it screws with it.

more that likely you have a louse connection in the HU itself that when the bass hits is rattles the connecton louse there for causeing your sound to go out.

But that would mean that it would do it on every station, and even when listening to CD's... especially listening to rap. lol
