It depends on the amount of farads each one puts out. Really, the best solution to a lack of power is to upgrade the alternator, not to add capacitors.

what farad rating are they. and why 3? unless you got some major wattage goin on... how many watts does you amp (or amps) draw in total?
no. you are wasting your money. if anything, get a good battery. i have one capacitor and its 5farads. i'm good for 5k watts.

thats right, the capacitors only increase the momentary available current, not the long term current. Multiple batteries and high output alternators are the correct way to power high wattage systems.

yes ugrading the alternator and battery is best - but try this turn on headlights with car running at idle turn your system up to full power if you can i big dim on lights or watch you battery guage if u have one a slight dip is one thing not when the bass hits and that thing sinks - if light dim a lot upgrade if not usually your good
