is there such a thing as pushing to many volts too a amp, cause my car puts out between 13-14 volts at idle and 15-16 volts when im driving, i know this for a fact cause i had it checked, so is it bad or good that my car is pushing this many volts
I run 16 volt setup in my blazer. Its a special 16 volt battery with a seperate 16 volt alternator. (i do NOT run 16 volt to anything else besides amp, and my msd ignition.) It all depends on the amp. if its rated to 16 volts. Mine are. Check. it shouldnt hurt your amps tho. But check anyways. Dont want to be blowin fuses.
