What will have a deeper bottom end with about 900 watts rms going to it, An eclipse TI 12" or an avalanche 12" ? Also it needs very good SQ and excellent transient response. Thank you,
800rms/1200peak. FS is free air resonant frequency. a sub with a low fs means it is better for lower frequencies than a sub with a higher fs, however im not sure of the fs of the eclipse. Now this is true in most cases not in all, other parameters affect the low end as well
Hey Alpine the Avalanche 12 does not have that low of a FS, Chad stepped it up a little bit to get a better transient response in the upper levels. I believe the FS on the avalanche 12 is 21 htz it would be similar but like I said with 900 watts the TI would be better suilted I think but they would both be very loud.
If I sent 800 watts rms to each sub theoreticaly which would hit deeper? And they both have pretty good SQ? If the ava has an fs of 21hz and the eclipse site says it has a fs of 22 hz but the electronicgiant site says its 27hz?? The eclipse site is the correct one right? Thanks guys,
I knew I'd hear from subfan sooner or later haha, I secretly think he's the CEO of Eclipse and he's just trying to get sales by socializing on here lol. Thanks for all the input guys I think I'll go with EClipse then.
yea i love mine, but my friend is going to trade me for either an alipne 2002 model or his pioneer, 2000 model, i cant decide, i love mine lol, but i wanna save up and find an eclise 8454
