without testing an amp, or even knowing what brand of amp it is, can you easily tell if the will put out good power? like if you looked at the amps fuse can you tell if it can handle alot of power?
my friend said that even if you didnt know anything about the amp you can tell if can put out alot of power by multiplying the fuse amp rating by 12 volts and you get a round about watt output number, is this true?
for example, if it had an 80 amp fuse multiplied by 12 volts you would somewhere of about 960 watts output by an amp
