Ticking noise in the amp?

Anonymous	Posted on Friday, April 29, 2005 - 21:12 GMT im thinking of buying an audiobahn a8002t amp off of ebay n its slighty used according to the guy, but he says that when the amp runs, that there is a ticking noise but that it is just the fan and that it happens in alot of these amps, is he lying, or is he right?
