I'm buying a wiring kit and I don't know which one to get. one has Interconnects and the other doesn't but the one w/ interconnects is about 15 dollars more. What are the interconnects for?
Interconnection cables are not used to bridge a sub.
Interconnection cables are RCA cables. They are used to carry the signal from your HU (head-unit, cd-player) to your amp. If you have an after market HU, you would HIGHLY reccomend using RCA's for your amp. Other wise you would have to use high-level input, that that is just a head-acke.
You run the interconnections from the back of you HU to your amp.
well ya lern something new ever day rca cables are just rca cables in the uk. i got 4 small cables in with my subs and they where called interconnection leads. must be how us brits word things.
