Bronze Member Username: ShekeiPost Number: 41 Registered: Mar-05 | Jeffrey. Would the components sound different with the 502 rather then the 342. The 342 is around 100 american the other one is 200$ american. Thanks |
Bronze Member Username: MolaqWaltham, MA USA Post Number: 23 Registered: Nov-04 | Tay, the difference between the two amps is how much power they can provide. The 502 is rated 125 watts x 2 channels @ 4ohms while the 342 is rated at only 85 watts x 2 channels @4 ohms. I believe the kappa perfects are rated at 100watts RMS which is right in the middle of these two amps. I would lean towards the 502 but I don't have any personal experience with this set of components. Also the sounddomain price for the 342 is $130 while the 502 is $175. |
