My mom wants a sub to make her car sound better since she likes to listen to loud music (mostly rock and a tiny bit of mainstream rap, country, a variety). I wanted to get here somthing that is a known name brand and has great SQ and can get a little loud. The price rang for the amp/sub/box would be around $300.

I was thinking maybe the JL 10W3 or the Infinity 100.3.

She said she doesnt want to take up much room and corvettes dont have much to spair so I was thinking a 10" would be good in a small sealed box.

Any suggestions?

Yah, I dont want the Basslink thing or whatever. I was thinking a 2 channel hifonics worrior amp with like 250 watts to an infinity kappa (whichever model) from onlinecarstereo.com. That would be like $250. Maybe I'll get a HU idk.

Hifonics? Don't waste your money on that brand.
Audiobahn A8000T amp is around $130 - $150 and is a better amp for the money.

I have an A8000T and its an 800 watt amp. Im looking to power a 285 watt sub with a 99$ hifonics 280 watt 2 channel amp...

How would I go about wiring these:

Not too sure how to wire 2 channel amps.

You bridge the amp first and then wire the sub. Since the sub is 2ohms DVC, you wire it in series for 4ohms load.
Don't say I didn't warn you about Hifonics amp.

it doesnt say what ohm the 280 watts would be at... When you bridge a 2 channel amp what is the ohm load you must wire the speakers at?

Isaac, how come a lot of people use HiFonics amps and then say Audiobahn is crap? Why would the HiFonics not do the job for my situation?

Well Hifonics and Audiobahn do make lot of crap amp models. However, they do have some "good" ones as well.
The Hifonics amp you're looking at is one of their low end model. I doubt you will get anything quality out of it.
Most cheap amps will only support 4ohms bridged. So I'm guessing Hifonics is the same.
The sub you posted above is 2 ohms DVC, so it can be wired in series for 4ohms total.

So would it work out ok? If so, how exactly (what to what) would I go about wiring it?

You will need amp powering kit for the amp (if you don't have one already). All the instruction you need will come with the amp or the power wiring kit. Very easy to follow.
I'd invest in a better rca cable though. The ones that come in a kit, is always a low grade.
Look for rca twisted cable. Don't overpay either.

Also, if I hook it up to the facotory HU, what adapters/wiring harnesses will I need?

If your stock HU has rca connectors then that would be ideal. If not, most amps nowdays come with speaker wire to rca converter built in. You will lose out in sound quality.

Damn, I hope not a lot. Ive heard of people using stock HU's though and being fine with it. Maybe we'll just get amp/sub/box and try that first.
