Silver Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 347 Registered: Feb-05 | wireing depends on length and amp draw. amp draw is figured out like this total watts using/12.6 volt electrical system = amps drawn usually power wire runs go around 16-19 feet depending on your car. and for that length, it goes as follows: 0-20 amps - 8AWG 20-35 amps - 6AWG 35-65 amps - 4AWG 65 - 105 amps - 2AWG 105 - 150 amps - 0AWG (info from MECP installer cable calculator chart) the shorter the run of wire, the smaller the gauge you can use, the longer the thicker hope this helps |
