Bridged amp-what ohms is it seeing?

I have one JL 12w6v2(500 or so RMS) set at 2 ohms. I have it hooked up bridged to a PPI PCX 2200 rated at 800x1@4 ohms. if I have a 2ohm sub bridged, is the amp seeing it as 4ohm, 2ohm, 1ohm?

and is the subs RMS rating per coil or total?

Just my bit of confusion for the day. hehe

Define "bridged". Are you saying you have the sub wired in parallel? Is your sub 4ohms DVC or 2ohms DVC?
If it's 4ohms DVC, then that wired in parallel will give you 2ohms total. 2ohms DVC in parallel will give you 1ohm load.
The rms rating is the total of both coils.
If the PPI amp is not 2ohms stable, you will surely over drive it.
