New member Username: Tambk1Post Number: 1 Registered: Apr-05 | Wuz up? I recently bought an old skool Soundstream MC500 power amp from a local classified newspaper after first seeing it in operation. The amp although about 15 years old is in absolute mint condition & all 4 channels work. Has anyone ever used this particular model of Soundstream MC power amp & if so, would it be powerful enough to power 2 Diamond Audio 10" M3 series subs with 250 wrms apiece in a small sealed enclosure? I will have a set of Diamond Audio M6 2 way 6.5" component speakers upfront powered by a 150 wrms/channel power amp. Appreciate your views guys. |

Just set the fuses in the back panel accodingly to optimize performance for the load you'll be running(4 ohms bridged?) and both stereo/mono switches to mono. I've never personally used one , but know people that have. Very, very good amplifier. -Fishy |
