I am wondering if someone out there has some experience with the rbc-1 remote bass control from jl audio. I have a 500/1 going to (2) 12W6's at 1.5ohm.
I have all the settings how i like them but when i turn on the bass eq and plug in the remote knob i get strange results. Turning the knob left to right does not give me directly increased bass but a variance of different bass levels. I have the q at about 1.0 and the center freq at about 45hz and the bass boost at 0db since i have the remote knob plugged in. I have the low frequency filter off since the box is not ported.
Can anyone give me some info of there exprience using the rbc-1 with a 500/1? Do you get direct bass boost or something similiar to my results?
