I had my tweeters taped to the door with "heavy duty" double sided tape. Well the tape didn't hold, in the heat, and the tweeters fell and had doors closed on them My question, should I get the replacement tweeters from Infinity, the 10.5t or could I use another set? Like some nice soft domes? I like the sound from the Infinitys but I like to expieremnt too.
you shouldn't have a problem hooking another set of tweeters to thoes crossovers. if the new ones come with crossovers, you can try both sets out, see if you can tell any difference and go with what you like
IMO this tweeter is one of the best soft dome tweeters I've ever heard, for the price ($30). It compares to the Scan Speak ($70) and the dynaudio ($600).
