love JBL, had a single 12" sub and amp from their "clear and loud" range a few years back, it's still great, but i need something with more punch now, so i brought a new package. Spend most of yesterday ripping out the old stuff and sticking this in. Problem is at reasonably high volume the amp seems to cut out very briefly (just one beat) then come back in, it's doing it all the time. I've checked all the connections, they are fine. ive got another amp for the 6x9's and that's ok. I am wondering if the fact that i've only got a 30amp fused power cable going to it may have anything to do with it. Anyone heard of this before?
