Silver Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 292 Registered: Feb-05 | you could hook 3 to the 1000/1, depends on whether you have dual 2 or 4 ohm subs. if they are dual 2, wire each sub's VC in series, then each sub in paralel for a 1.33 ohm load. it should work even though the amp says 1.5-4ohm. a friend has 3 4 ohm svc subs wired to 1.33 ohms on a 500/1 and has no problems. or if the subs are dual 4, wire each vc in series, then the subs in parallel for a 2.66 ohm load. i'd think just having 2 would be better since they would receive their RMS, adding a 3rd will only give each around 330 watts. i'd stick with 2 or get a bigger amp |
