How to wire 2 dual 4 ohm subs

if you wire each sub for a 2 ohm load and hook them up to separate channels on a 2 channel amp the amp sees a 2 ohm load on each channel right? not a single one ohm load?

if u have 2 dvc 4 ohm subs u can wire it for 4 ohm or 1 ohm. u will see a 1 ohm load if u wire it how u are talking about.

and the subs arent even wired together at all?
