I have two 12's on one amp, 3 tens on another, and my 2 six by nines on the third. Everything is running great actept for the amp for the six by nines keeps shuting off then back on again. Anyone know whats causing this.?
clipping or overheating most likely. Also maybe your speaker wires are touching each other like + to - on the amp itself. all it takes is one strand to arc and it will send your amp into protection.
Since you have a lot of amps hooked up on your system, the minimum operating voltage level on that amp might be alot higher thanthan the other 2. So first thing would be to try disscontecct your sub amp and see if it still happens. If it is than all that crap i just explained is not the problem. Actually James is right, if it is not arcing or overheating then it might be a voltage drop. If it is a voltage drop put a cap on your sub amp. And if it is not a voltage drop, heat, or arcing, get a new amp.
