What glue to use

Child_at_play Unregistered guest	Posted on Monday, February 23, 2004 - 06:43 GMT I am putting new rubber inserts in my 6X9's. I was wondering what glue works best the glue it to the frame and the cone.

GlassWolf Bronze Member Username: Glasswolf Post Number: 19 Registered: 02-2004	Posted on Monday, February 23, 2004 - 16:32 GMT NO. do NOT use silicone. that eats the surrounds. you need to use adhesive that's designed for speaker surrounds by a company like 3M. look online for speaker building supply companies. you can buy the glue online. you also need to make sure the cone is aligned when gluing the surrounds, or you'll wreck the speaker when you use it.
