4ohm or 2ohm? help glasswolf~

dan New member Username: Dan2 Post Number: 1 Registered: 02-2004	Posted on Sunday, February 22, 2004 - 23:41 GMT okay so i have the 2 401s RF amps leading to two 10 inch l7 kickers(dual 4ohms). Each amp powers a seperate sub. The subs are wired in series and the amp is bridged, is this the best setup? Or should i switch my l7's for 2ohms?? thankz alot for your help
Pete Unregistered guest	Posted on Monday, February 23, 2004 - 02:00 GMT You would notice a pretty significant increase is sound level if you rewired the subs to 2 ohms, but you will also notice a larger strain on your alternator, so make sure your electrical is up to snuff for the new demand. -Pete
