Silver Member Username: JmloughreyFarmington, CT Post Number: 998 Registered: Jul-04 | Well, seems to me like getting one of the phoenix gold Xenon amps is my best bet seeing as my sub is 600 RMS dual 2 ohm...i'm not too comfortable with running an amp at 1 ohm....also i dont think i should bridge a 2 channel amp with an orion HCCA 12" sub... My ionly other really good option would be to get a used JL 500/1 amp.... so what should i do...Phoenix gold Xenon 600.1 brand new for like 280 or JL 500/1 used for like 340.... |

Anonymous | I'd get the Xenon...the Xenon amps are guaranteed cea compliant just like the JL audio amps. You get more power from the Xenon and its cheaper and basically same as the JL. If it were me id go w/ the xenon. Also, ive heard realy good things about those amps. |

Gold Member Username: JmloughreyFarmington, CT Post Number: 1002 Registered: Jul-04 | i was actually looking at the JBL GTO601.1 amp...puts out 425rms @ 4 ohms...and i know this would be a clean 425 rms...i'm thinking that the xenon may only put out closer to like 500rms if i'm lucky...so i figure for the extra like 50 bucks would it be worth it... |
