Assuming deck/power/cabling is the same is there a difference in sound at 1ohm, 2ohm, 4ohm etc...?
Does 500watt at 1ohm sound any different than 500watt at 4ohm?

In theory, you will get better sound quality at 4ohms, but in reality, not sure if your ears are that sensitive.
Amps designed for 4ohms, running @ 1ohm will burn more power vs amps running at 4ohms. Mainly due to heat and inefficiency.
