I'm gonna be running new 2 awg power line to a dis. block, and I want some way to totally switch the power off to everything if I'm gonna be hooking things up and what not. In my old setup my amps only had like 30 and 40 amp fuses, so I ran the power lines through 30 amp toggle switches. My new setup's gonna be over 100 amps, so a toggle swtich is gonna be out of the picture. The only thing I can think of that would be big enough to handle that current would be a battery master swtich. Good idea or should I do something different? |

The smallest ones I've seen are like 125, 175 continuous amps, and they can take like 5000 amps for 10 seconds. I'm sure it should work for what I need. |
