Silver Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 927 Registered: Dec-04 | the best spl box would be a ported box slightly below your cars peak hrz |
New member Username: CoolcardudeOr Post Number: 9 Registered: Mar-05 | how do you know what your cars peak hrz is?! aaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! i feel so lost! lol |
Gold Member Username: HdubbFarmington, Nm Usa Post Number: 1148 Registered: Nov-04 | dont worry about it man, i dont even know how to figure that, its not really important unless you are all out spl comps. have you ever looked inside of a ported box? |
Silver Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 928 Registered: Dec-04 | you can go to a local car audio shop and ask them to tell you..i think most are between 50 and 60 hrz ssay yours is 58...then tune your box to like 54 |

Depends on application what would be the absolute highest. Cody, you determine the resonant frequency by playing a subwoofer with a known response in the car and note the changes that are made, the peak SPL will be your resonant frequency. |
