There's too many people listening to amps that clip/distort and thinking they're great. Put one of those Memphis and Hifonics on a test equipment and run some tests. You'd be surprised. The sound that you think is "great", is actually mixed with clipping/distortion along with music. This is why if you find an amp that's 1000W rms and priced below $1 per 1watt, chances are it's not pure power. |
