Hi I am a noob when it comes to car audio but I recently purchased a kenwood Kac-7202 920 watt amp, two 10" kfc - w2509 700watt subs and a q-logic sub box. I wanted to know if this is a decent set up and if this amp is powerful enough to power the subs I would also like to know your opinions of the quality of sound. Just to let you know I payed around $300 for everything.
Kenwood's stuff is around mid grade. for a noob, that is a great way to start seriously. Its not expensive and you get experience. My 1st system was less than that. Take that and gain experience and knowledge and do research so that when that one breaks down or if u are tired of it then you will know what you want in your next one.
Since u r a noob I dont know if u are giving me the peak or rms ratings. The RMS rating is far more important than peak, peak is practically useless because u never attain peak power
